  • Free parking entrance throughout the year... That's amazing specially because this park is a nice getaway for Windsorites and others in the region. The marsh boardwalk is fascinating every season as there's a different look to it in summer and in the dry seasons alike. The wooden pathway is very strange, different and unique as it just takes you into the marshlands. Noticed there was this one bird (bright red spot on its neck) that was probably eating off the grass in the marshes. The trails, beaches and the tip of the park are all the different aspects of the park that needs to be explored and experienced!

  • A fantastic place to visit and observe the sun set. Plant and animal species in abundance, coupled with wooden planks built over the lake for walkers. There are various viewpoints one can just climb up to take a photographic view of the "swamp" with its beautiful plant life. Lots of tortoise ( breeding season) and the kids loved that. Then there is the beach and nicely created areas, including along the coast to barbecue, swim and relax. The sun was out and the water cool. There are no camping grounds as yet - but that will not be for long. Construction of campgrounds, Otentiks and Yurts are in progress and we were advised they would be ready September/October 2017. We look forward to that. If there is one place to go camping, this is definitely it.

  • Went to the park on Canada Day and even with the crowds of people, it was easy to navigate. The park is WAY bigger than you think, so don't expect to park near the entrance and walk through it. Really nice and clean beaches, good walking trails, and enough room for cyclists + drivers in the park. The Point itself is absolutely beautiful. Only complaint is that the shuttle system is disorganized.
